The Mobility Center never send application, they send me another re-certify letter, so walk into the Mobility Center for application I told the person I would be in the next day so I could show them that fill out the application so I could make appointment to re-certify. It cost $110 for each person that goes through the Mobility Center, then cost $35.00 each for Paratransit to pick-up for a Total of $180. UTA would save alot money if they took letters form doctors.
UTA would save alot of money if they got accessible vans and small buses to go into neighborhoods to help encourage people to take the bus, would take individuals to the main bus routes and trax. UTA needs to work on barrier free, benches and shelters and also increase the frequency of buses.
This would reduce the cost and need for Paratransit. This would be transportation for all. This would help get more cars off the road, reduce traffic grid lock. Help out our Environment.
UTA Board of Trustees are very good at doing Business and not stopping to think about the people that they hurting. There GOAL is to keep the Construction of Light-Rail, FrontRunner and soon to be Streetcar. So John Inglish and the rest of the executives I get there Huge Salaries and Huge Bonuses. $GREED$ $GREED$ $GREED$ $GREED$

UTA is trying to Discourage the Disabled and the Elderly to apply for Paratransit
I called the Mobility Center to try to Schedule my re-certify for Paratransit, they said they would do it ontil I received the application and fill it out also got a doctor note that I have a traumatic brain injury. I had try to call the Mobility Center several times so finally I left a message, by the they called back I could of taken the Bus, Transfer to Trax at the 3900 South Trax Station get the next Trax Station I would be there and home, it like the Disabled and the Elderly all do is watch TV and wait for the to ring. I am Conditional I can take the regular bus system the Majority of the time.
UTA has good bus service in down town Salt Lake City, Avenues and the University of Utah. UTA has Flushed the Bus System down the Toilet. UTA is building a Empire Trax, FrontRunner and soon to be Streetcar.
UTA needs to get accessible vans and small buses to go into neighborhoods to help encourage people to take the bus would take individuals to the main bus routes and trax. UTA needs to work on barrier free, benches and shelters and also increase the frequency of buses. UTA needs to start charging at Park and Ride Lots to help encourage people to leave their vehicle at home to help increase ridership at home increase ridership on buses.
This would reduce the need for Paratransit and bring down Costs. This would be Transportation for all. This would help get more cars off the road, and reduce traffic grid lock. Help out our Environment.
UTA Board Trustee is having a Special Board Meeting, now expanded the Sandy Trax Line to central station, Bus Routes Cuts and making it harder for the Disabled and Elderly approval for Paratransit.

Utah Transit Authority has Flushed the System Down the Toilet
It very Frustrating that I cannot take a Bus to the only Fabric Store in the City of South Salt Lake, also can't take a Bus to the only Post Office and Drug Store.
Utah Transit Authority has good bus service in down town Salt Lake City, in the Avenues and at the University of Utah. UTA has Flushed the Bus System down the Toilet in the rest of Salt Lake City County.
I wish Elected and People running for Election would take time to care about the Disabled and Elderly and Individuals that do not have a Vehicle.
There needs to be Accessible Vans and Small Buses to go into Neighborhoods to the Main Bus Routes and to Trax. Increase the Frequency of Buses and Lower Fares and also Charge for Parking at Park and Ride Lots, to Help Increase Ridership on Buses.
This would Help reduce COSTS and NEED for Paratransit. This would Help reduce Traffic Grid Lock. This would reduce Traffic Grid Lock. This would be Transportation for all. Also Help out our ENVIRONMENT.
I am Paratransit approved I only use it went I really need it, I want Paratransit to be affordable for the individuals that need all the time. I enjoy the regular bus system it give Freedom and I like making new friends.

Voters Voted for a Improvement in the Transit System not Destruction of the Bus System
The Constructions of more Trax Lines, FrontRunner and now Streetcar, more Buses are taken off the Road. Since the August 2007 Change Day of alot Bus Routes were Cut. I have needed Paratransit more, I know I am not the only Person affected by what Utah Transit Authority has done.
Bus Fare Increases and Service Cuts reduces Ridership, even individuals that can get a pass for free, drive their car to work instead of the bus due to service cuts. This leaves the leaves the Transit Dependent the working class, the elderly, high school and disabled discriminated against. Cuts to Evening and Weekend Service.
Right of the Disabled Especially those using Wheelchairs. Disrespect for the disabled and pressure from management on drivers to meet unrealistic time demands are all contributing to the literal leaving behind the disabled. The way the Planner have done the Scheduling the Bus Routes it is alot tier, they do not have time to tie down a Wheelchair, UTA needs to Wake Up there are going to be more accident, Customer Service Worst, Buses are now Speeding. UTA is no Longer ADA Friendly! Thank You! John Inghish and the rest of Executives enjoy your Huge Salaries and Huge Bonuses.
Utah Transit Authority planned for years on how to reduce ridership on buses. So they can put most of the money into Trax Lines, FrontRunner and now Streetcar.
So there is increase ridership on Trax and FrontRunner UTA hands out Subsidized Passes.

The need for Partransit is only going to increase. A Good Frequent Low Fares Bus System Helps reduce the need for Paratransit.
